A ‘Dam’ is a wall or barrier that stops or restricts the flow of water or streams. It is also a Reservoir, held in by Gates on a wall or barrier, not only to suppress floods, but also to supply life-giving ‘Water‘ מים downstream for irrigation, water for human and animal consumption, for growth of industry and prosperity, and water for agriculture.
